Inside the Experience
Welcome to Caffe Bene Dago, a unique gem nestled in the heart of Bandung, Indonesia. Located on the bustling Jl. Ir. H. Juanda No.155, this café stands out with its rustic charm, reminiscent of a bygone era. The exterior is deliberately weathered, drawing you in with an inviting atmosphere that feels both cozy and nostalgic.
Upon stepping inside, you're enveloped by a warm ambiance ideal for casual meetings, study sessions, or simply enjoying a quiet moment with a friend. The café offers a diverse crowd, from business professionals to students, making it the perfect spot for anyone looking to unwind or work creatively.
The menu at Caffe Bene Dago features a delightful selection of beverages and Korean-inspired dishes. A customer favorite is the large strawberry bingsu, priced at approximately 82k, an indulgent dessert perfect for sharing. Patrons rave about the cappuccinos, which are served in generous portions and boast rich flavors. The pastries, including the flaky croissants and Pain Au Chocolat, offer a delightful contrast with their crispy exteriors and soft interiors, making them a must-try.
For those looking for heartier options, the mix platter showcases an assortment of sausages, potatoes, and chicken, although some found the portions a tad lacking for the price. The bulgogi rice is another highlight, celebrated for its flavorful meat and well-prepared rice, making it a comforting choice for lunch.
While some dishes, like the salad and Indonesian platter with fried banana, have received mixed reviews regarding portion sizes, Caffe Bene Dago remains a popular gathering spot. The café's spacious layout, complete with indoor and semi-outdoor seating arrangements, allows patrons to enjoy their meals immersed in a beautiful wooden theme.
Overall, Caffe Bene Dago is more than just a café; it’s a community hub where great food, inviting atmosphere, and a vibrant crowd converge. Whether you're grabbing a quick coffee or settling in for a long study session, this café provides a welcoming environment that feels like home.
“ We visited Caffe Bene during the weekend and opted for the large strawberry bingsu, priced at approximately 82k. Additionally, we ordered a latte and a misugaru latte for our beverages. Alongside, we also tried the mix platter, featuring sausages, potatoes, chicken, and more, but found the portions somewhat inadequate given the price. Our choice of bulgogi rice was flavorful, but the meat and rice portions were noticeably scant. It's worth noting that they offer options for the egg in the bulgogi rice, allowing customers to choose between sunny side up or half-cooked. Regarding the bingsu, while the ice portion was generous, it could be smoother in texture. The standout element was primarily the ice itself. Service-wise, it was satisfactory, although customers are required to collect their food from the counter. However, in terms of value for money, we felt that the prices were somewhat inflated. ”
“ The location of this cafe is on a main street, Jl. Dago in Bandung. From the outside, it appears to be a building designed in a bygone era, with paint that is intentionally left rustic. As soon as you enter, a cozy atmosphere envelops you, from the arrangement of seating to the types of food that can be chosen. The visitors here are varied, ranging from businessmen, lecturers, students, and many more. There is a room with good privacy for meetings or parties. ”

“ Coffee is good, food is also ok. The portion of their salad is small. It should be bigger. Kinda sad to see the lettuce is about to be wilted. The Indonesian platter with fried banana is very good. ”
